Studio furniture installed
- Desk V3 Acoustic 52RU.
- Black Finishes
- Shallow-depth armrests to bring the engineer closer to the integrated processors and controls.
Studio integration
The V3 Acoustic 52RU Desk brings together the main mastering chain in a single workstation. Its 52 rack units allow for the integration of a wide selection of analog processors alongside the central area dedicated to control, editing, and playback.
The angled modules keep the gauges and front panels visible during sessions. For this project, the depth of the armrest was also reduced, shortening the distance between Doma and the hardware installed on the desk.
The black finish complements the room's subdued lighting and technical aesthetic, creating a uniform visual backdrop for the equipment.
A hybrid mastering workflow
Phantoms Mastering uses processors from manufacturers such as Neve, API, Dangerous Music, Shadow Hills, Mäag Audio, and Gainlab, combined with digital tools to make precise adjustments and quickly recall settings.
The signal chain includes compressors and equalizers selected to control dynamics, define the tonal balance, and shape the stereo field. The console’s capabilities allow this integrated setup to be maintained at the main mixing position, connecting the analog and digital environments within the same workflow.
Monitoring
The monitoring system combines the ATC SCM25A Pro and Yamaha NS-10M with Prism Sound Atlas conversion. The acoustic treatment was designed and installed by GIK Acoustics using solutions tailored specifically to the room.
The combination of these two systems makes it possible to review each project from different perspectives before preparing it for streaming platforms, home entertainment systems, cars, and other playback formats.
Services for international projects
In addition to mastering, Phantoms Mastering offers mixing and recording services. Its online workflow allows it to collaborate with artists, producers, and labels located outside of Hungary, while in-person sessions take place at the studio in Budapest.
