Da Goose Mastering is a professional mastering studio run by Jeffrey de Gans and located in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, the Netherlands. With more than 25 years of mastering experience, the studio works with artists, producers, record labels and mixing engineers across a wide range of musical styles.
The room was designed exclusively for mastering and combines carefully planned acoustics with professional monitoring and a selection of analogue and digital tools. Much of the analogue equipment used by Jeffrey has been modified or custom-built, while digital processing is incorporated whenever a task requires additional precision.

- Symmetrical configuration for a professional mastering studio.
Studio integration
The V3 Acoustic desk occupies the centre of the listening position and brings together the main control and editing tools. Two Face Up Rack modules were installed on either side, allowing the external equipment to be distributed without overcrowding the central surface of the desk.
The angled position of the rack modules makes the processors easier to view and operate during mastering sessions. Their symmetrical placement keeps the equipment within reach and creates an organised layout around the main working position.
The white finish was chosen to complement the acoustic treatment and the bright visual character of the room. The furniture therefore forms part of the overall studio design without competing visually with the equipment or the listening environment.
A studio dedicated to mastering
Da Goose Mastering is a primarily analogue studio, complemented by digital tools whenever the process requires greater precision. The room features professional B&W monitoring and is equipped for projects intended for digital platforms, physical formats and Apple Digital Masters.
Since 2012, the studio has also been powered by solar energy, incorporating energy efficiency into its working philosophy.
