Green Lobster Recording Studios It was a recording, production, and mixing studio located in Graz, Austria. Founded by audio engineer Richard Tretzel, the project combined an analog processing chain with digital tools and various monitoring systems.
The photographs are from the period when Green Lobster operated as a recording studio. The project later evolved into GreenLobster Media Technologies, a company specializing in adaptive audio and interactive sound experiences.
Studio furniture installed
- Desk V3 Acoustic 56RU with a Custom 25-Degree Angle.
- White finish.
- Total capacity of 56 rack units.
Studio integration
The V3 Acoustic 56RU Desk was manufactured with a custom 25-degree angle to adapt the position of the side modules to the room's layout. The central area houses the monitor, keyboard, and standard controls, while the external processors are integrated into the angled rack spaces.
The setup combines the desk with two monitoring systems, analog equipment, and an open-reel tape recorder located next to the workstation. The white finish blends in with the slats and light-colored surfaces of the acoustic treatment.
From the Recording Studio to Adaptive Audio
Green Lobster began operations in Graz as a recording studio and later combined its expertise in music production with audio software development. In 2021, the studio merged with welove.audio to form GreenLobster Media Technologies.
The company is currently developing interactive sound solutions such as TableTone, a platform for music and adaptive environments for role-playing games and narrative experiences.
