Coda Mastering

CODA Mastering is a professional mastering studio located in Brighton, United Kingdom. It is run by Mark Dobson, an audio and electronics engineer with training in music production and extensive experience working with various styles and formats.

Studio integration

The V3 Acoustic 52RU Desktop serves as the central listening station and integrates the processing chain, control surfaces, and conversion equipment into a compact workstation.

The rack spaces keep the analog processors within easy reach from the engineer's position, while the central area is reserved for the display and standard controls. The African rosewood finish provides a warm contrast to the desk's black surfaces and blends in with the wood and natural tones of the room.

Analog mastering

CODA Mastering uses an analog signal chain consisting of processors from manufacturers such as Maselec, Manley, Neve, Dangerous Music, and API, along with Lynx and Crane Song conversion systems.

The studio offers mastering services for digital distribution, CD, and vinyl, as well as mastering by stems, DDP file creation, vinyl restoration, and mixing projects.

Its clients include international labels and artists such as Universal, Warner, Sony, Island Records, Disclosure, Sia, Jungle, Mura Masa, and Armand Van Helden.
